When moderator Chris Matthews asked who doesn't believe in evolution, three Republicans raised their hands -- Messrs. Huckabee, Brownback and Tancredo.This was the last line in the article "Social Issues Prominent In Republican Debate" By Jackie Calmes in the May 4, 2007 Wall Street Journal.
Honestly, kids, lets get with the freakin' program. It's one thing to say that you don't believe that we are descended from chimps, that is a reasonable and arguable point. For a serious presidential candidate to flatly state that he does not believe in evolution is down right dumb.

Alright Mr. It was a yes or no question. If you don't believe we are decended from chimps or have any other qualms with the current theory you have to raise your hand.
